Who are we?
Qi Van Systems is an independent engineering company established in 1984, specialising in commercial vehicle conversions. Qi offer customers a full range of conversion products and manage the whole vehicle conversion process from initial design, through to manufacturing, assembly, delivery to the customer and Aftersales Support.

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain basic information about you when you contact us about products and services.

What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, telephone number, and any other relevant information that you disclose to enable us to provide you with an end product that meets your needs and expectations. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.

How is your information used?
We may use your information to:

  • process orders that you have submitted;
  • carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
  • seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
  • notify you of changes to our services;

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.

Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to third party service providers or subcontractors for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (to deliver a vehicle to an address that you have specified to us or fitting of ancillary equipment). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond this for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
All the personal data we process is processed by our staff in Telford, however for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance this information is located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

Your choices
You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us.
