Flying Colours West Midlands is a fully mobile bodywork repair company that have been providing high quality bodywork repairs across the West Midlands for over 25 years.
The scoping process involved Qi’s Account Management and Design teams gaining a comprehensive understanding of the technicians’ complex needs.
Adopting a consultative approach, Qi carefully considered and liaised with the user in each element of their design, ensuring ease of access for tools, optimisation of the space and durability of the materials used within the conversion.
Included in the specification are purpose built bracketry for tools and spray guns, storage trays for paint bottles and cans, and even a spray booth!

Flying Colours approached Qi with a view to improving both the productivity and efficiency of their mobile technicians. The customer required a redesign of their existing conversion configuration to make it more robust and fit for purpose.
Each component of the build utilised durable and lightweight materials in order to enhance payload. Prior to vehicle prototyping, a 3D SolidWorks of the concept was signed off by the customer, ensuring the remainder of the build process ran smoothly and swiftly.
