Off-site crash testing and product life cycle/durability testing at UK vehicle test centres.

  • Tests representing the most common road traffic accident /emergency stop situations.
  • Forward direction specifically aimed at driver/passenger occupant safety.
  • 48 – 50 km/h to a force of 20g in the form of a sled tests a Millbrook Proving Ground.

Manufactured racking products tested to ECE Regulation 17 luggage retention.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

FEA is used regular to predict how our products react to simulated conditions (vibration, force, etc).

It is used for design modifications, material changes etc as part of product improvement and new product development projects.

Failure Mode and Effect Analysis

Qi use Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to simulate stress/deflection testing.

External Storage Testing

Our products are outsourced in the main and we only use compliant / certified products.
